In September 2016, in Marrakesh, Taner was invited by FIDIC to speak at the FIDIC International Infrastructure Conference business day. Taner delivered a paper on the role of the Engineer and spoke together with a team of five, on the role of the Engineer.

In February 2017, in Casablanca, Taner delivered a two-day in-house FIDIC Cornerstone Seminar on FIDIC Contracts and Claims for a major Consulting Engineering Company on his own.
