After the success of the first two FIDIC Regional Infrastructure Conference held by FIDIC/ARIC/EFCA in Bucharest then FIDIC/SIDIR/EFCA in Krakow, in March 2017, Taner was invited back by FIDIC to speak for the third in the series of Regional Infrastructure Conferences to take place in Belgrade organised by FIDIC-ACES-EFCA . Taner spoke about how FIDIC should tackle the important issue of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in its contracts.

In November 2019 Taner held a 2 days conference on FIDIC 1999 Yellow Book.
