Taner was invited by FIDIC to speak in Bucharest for the inaugural FIDIC-ARIC-EFCA Regional Infrastructure Conference in March 2015. 

Prior to the conference, Taner was involved in delivering the first ever Cornerstone FIDIC Module 3: DAB conference together with Edward Corbett, Jim Perry, Aisha Nadar and Leo Grutters.
