Taner has worked on various energy projects as as set out below: 

Advising the employer in relation to a hydropower project which has a split contract structure with four main contracts:

  • Civil works (FIDIC “red book”)
  • Electro- Mechanical works (FIDIC “yellow book”)( split into an onshore and an offshore portion)
  • Hydraulic steel works (FIDIC “yellow book”)
  • Transmission line (FIDIC “yellow book”)

Peru

Advising the contractor in relation to some 30 claims and over 70 counterclaims in relation to a Power Station under a bespoke EPC contract. The contract sum of the project is $175 million.

Sudan

Advising Swiss contractor on issues of risk allocation in a heavily amended FIDIC contract concerning a nuclear power project.

Advising Dutch international Contractor in relation to issues concerning a wind farm.
